Overview
This article describes the different statuses an ISP will see on their subscribers and what those statuses represent.
Active
The customer is fully provisioned and is now being billed for internet services. Does not show if the customer has internet access.
Suspended
The customer has either been bumped into the utility plan or has had internet services stopped. Example of when this status is seen: Customer has not paid their bill.
Pending Provisioning
This status will come in two parts which the descriptions are listed below.
Pending ISP Provisioning: A check mark will show whether the ISP needs to perform any action on their part to get a customer fully activated. Checked will mean that the ISP has completed the necessary steps for customers to receive the internet. Example: ISP supplies a Wi-Fi router. The router will need to be installed and configured before the customer can receive internet. Once this has been properly completed, ISP will use the “Ready for Service” action to show that provisioning on their end has been completed.
Pending Operator Provisioning: This status will show a check mark if the operator has completed all necessary steps on their end to ensure that a customer is provisioned. If not checked, then the operator still has steps to complete before the customer can be made Active.
